Rachna College of Engineering & Technology Gujranwala Pioneer Batch
Inaugurated in 2002, first batch of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering was inducted in January 2003. The present shape of College took a long while on a bumpy track and the pioneer batch had to pay the toll. Standing firm against all the odds, the pioneer students gave their best shots for the well being of Rachna College. Passed out in June 2007, the pioneer batch exits College Boundary with hearts Sad for losing so much , Souls relaxed for the College uplift from what was a sight of Graveyard and minds focussed on future as Engineers.
In 2003
Start was informal.....no welcome....bullying each other was pastime for most of the guys as there was no other activity....but surprisingly it brought everyone close to each other during the past 4 anno. Joura Ford was the preferred transport source as it had to be, because of no other alternative.The starting period of our Engineering studies at Rachna will be remembered for our memories regarding snake charm, lovely natural pre-historic scenes and the hope against hope for a smart end....Ah!

We have travelled through a lot of barren deserts, lost way in dark alleys of time, life whipped respitelessly and luck deceived at crucial moments but still we go on....with a heart bigger than ever....with a spirit stronger than ever before....with work that does not confuse our skill with luck....to prove our inside stuff!!!
In 2007
Everything is well that ends well....but not for the pioneer batch....it was bad end to a bad start....an informal one infact again with no farewell.But things shaped nicely and the circumstances totally reverted from those of 2003....no need to mention the source forcing all the issues. One of the best memories are the trip to Nothern areas in 2006 and Music gala & Annual dinner night 2005.Synoptically, Rachna is far fit for accomodation and academics in 2007 as compared to 2003.
Future
The pioneers assume on the basis of present College status and in the mirror of all past experiences that Rachna has a very bright scope as an Engineering alme mater.It can overtake UET Taxila in coming 3 years and keep on stepping up ladder with a committed effort from both students and the administration....as did the pioneers but unfortunately the administration didn't have the understanding of their objective oriented aspirations....but 'tis not spsceship science that the mind cannot digest....needs a little honesty, common sense and work.Wishing present and all the future batches the very best....
